On August 1, 2023, Jeffrey Henson, a 37-year-old man, was fatally shot while driving in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. in the 5300 block of South Lowe, which is located in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the city's South Side.
According to police reports, Henson was driving a vehicle when shots were fired, and he was struck in the back. He was immediately transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
