Dayman "Rocky" Warren Jr., a 27-year-old resident of Granite City, Illinois, died on October 1, 2023, in East St. Louis, Illinois. The cause of his death was a shooting incident that occurred around 1:30 a.m. in the 900 block of St. Louis Avenue in East St. Louis.

The shooting resulted in Warren being pronounced dead at a hospital. Following the incident, Terrell Amerson, a 27-year-old man from Belleville, was charged with first-degree murder in connection with Warren's death. Amerson a ...
