Leon Mooney Jr., a 17-year-old, was fatally shot on November 11, 2023, in a shooting incident on the Far South Side of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the 13000 block of South Drexel Avenue around 2:50 p.m..
According to Chicago police, Leon Mooney Jr. was shot in the chest and right arm. He was immediately taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
