On July 5, 2014, Yanetsy Pastrana, a 40-year-old woman, was shot and killed at her home in Miami, Florida. The alleged perpetrator, her estranged boyfriend Orlando Cartaya-Feria, forcibly entered her home after knocking on the door, where a friend of Pastrana answered.
