Woman is shot to death after answering the door
On July 5, 2014, Yanetsy Pastrana, a 40-year-old woman, was shot and killed at her home in Miami, Florida. The alleged perpetrator, her estranged boyfriend Orlando Cartaya-Feria, forcibly entered her home after knocking on the door, where a friend of Pastrana answered. Cartaya-Feria allegedly grabbed Yanetsy by the hair and shot her to death. He has been on the run since the incident and is wanted for first-degree murder.
