On a quiet Tuesday night in Dacula, Georgia, the stillness was broken by the discovery of a man's body lying in the middle of a remote, tree-lined dirt road. A passerby stumbled upon the scene on Stanley Road at approximately 10 p.m. and immediately alerted the authorities. Gwinnett County police responded to the call and found 35-year-old Steven Thomaston, a resident of nearby Lawrenceville, deceased from at least one gunshot wound.
