Lawrence "JoJo" Jones Jr., a 22-year-old resident of Dawson, Georgia, passed away on December 16, 2023, at his home. Known affectionately as "JoJo," he was a cherished member of the Dawson community.

Tragically, Lawrence's life was cut short due to gun violence. The Dawson Police Department, in collaboration with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, launched an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding his death.
