On July 4, 2024, Tommy Lee Jones, a 69-year-old resident of Leesburg, Georgia, died at his residence under circumstances that led to a criminal investigation.
The incident began early in the morning when the Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call reporting shots fired at a home on the 1400 block of Smithville Road in Leesburg.
