Nader Aweidah, a 46-year-old well-known business owner in Miami, was fatally shot on June 6, 2023. The incident occurred at the Perfect Auto Paint & Body Shop, located in the area of Northwest Seventh Avenue and 75th Street in Miami’s Liberty City.

According to the arrest warrant, the events leading up to the shooting began when Ferris Phillips II, 38, entered Aweidah’s office inside the body shop shortly before 11 a.m. Phillips demanded to speak with Aweidah, who told him to wait. ...
