On March 8, 2016, 26-year-old Ricardo Joseph was found dead in the Little Haiti neighborhood of Miami, Florida. The incident occurred near 16 NE 60th Terrace, a location known for its high crime rates, especially involving gun violence. Joseph was shot and killed in what authorities described as a homicide, though specific details surrounding the motive and the events leading to his death remain unclear. The Miami Police Department launched an investigation but, to date, the case remains unsolved.

Local law enforcement sought the public's assistance in solving the crime, offering a reward for information leading to an arrest. Despite these efforts, no suspects have been apprehended, and the case has since joined a list of unsolved homicides in the area. The unsolved nature of the case has been troubling for investigators, who continue to hope for leads that could bring justice for Joseph and closure for his family.

The murder took place in a community already struggling with violence, and Joseph’s death has become one of many unsolved cases in Miami from that year. Police have encouraged anyone with information to come forward, emphasizing the importance of anonymous tips through programs like Crime Stoppers, which offer rewards to those whose tips result in arrests.
