Marquette Dames, a 24-year-old resident of Tampa, Florida, was tragically killed on July 6, 2016, in a violent incident that remains unsolved. On the day of his death, Dames left his house and walked to a family member's home. When no one answered the door, he began walking back home. At some point, he encountered an individual who attacked him physically and then shot him as he tried to flee. Dames was also robbed during the incident and later died from his injuries.
