A young Hispanic boy, Emuel Ny Pizaro, age 3, was found dead on February 14, 2023, in a tragic event that also claimed the life of his mother. The discovery was made inside their apartment in the Quebec Square Village public housing complex in Brooklyn, Connecticut. Emuel, described as a smart, loving, and playful child, was found to have been shot in the head. His death was officially ruled a homicide by the state's Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
