On December 31, 2023, a shooting incident occurred at an apartment on North Street in New Britain, Connecticut, resulting in the death of 44-year-old Sabrina Finch. The incident was reported to the police around 11:10 p.m., and upon arrival, officers found three individuals who had been shot.

Sabrina Finch was pronounced dead at the scene. The other two victims, who were also shot, were treated at local hospitals and were reported to be in stable condition.
