On March 30, 2023, Tracy Lee Bloch Lechner, a 42-year-old resident of the Hills West at Cherry Creek neighborhood in Arapahoe County, Colorado, was fatally shot outside her home located along the 5200 block of S. Geneva Way, southwest of Cherry Creek Reservoir. The perpetrator was her soon-to-be ex-husband, David Samuel Lechner, who was 45 years old at the time.
