In the early hours of February 29, 2024, a tragic event unfolded in a Bountiful, Utah neighborhood that claimed the life of 20-year-old Uatisone Junior Kelemete. Born in Ili Ili, American Samoa, Kelemete was a resident of West Bountiful. He was discovered unconscious around 1 a.m. near 1950 S. Bonneview Drive, suffering from a gunshot wound to his abdomen. Emergency services transported him to a local hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
