On February 28, 2023, Debra Nadine Mayfield, a 68-year-old woman, and her daughter, Karie Jane Mayfield, 43, were found dead at their residence in rural Springville, Iowa. The incident occurred at a home located at 2561 Jordan’s Grove Road, which is about halfway between Marion and Springville.
