On a late winter day in Marion, Iowa, the life of 68-year-old Debra Nadine Mayfield came to a tragic end. On February 28, 2023, she was found deceased from gunshot wounds inside a home in a rural area of Linn County. The circumstances surrounding her death were quickly identified by law enforcement as a violent and personal tragedy.
