In the spring of 2014, the life of 34-year-old Marshall Gernova Davis, a Black / African American male, was cut short in a burst of violence on the south side of Tucson, Arizona. On the evening of Friday, March 21, 2014, officers from the Tucson Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 3800 block of East Presidio Road.
