On November 11, 2018, a tragic shooting occurred at the Jammerz bar in Globe, Arizona, resulting in the death of Ashley Sanchez, a 22-year-old resident of Globe. Ashley was at the bar with her cousin, Daniel Albo, and another woman, Charlene Peak, when they stepped outside to the patio to smoke. It was there that Sterling Randall Hunt, who had been playing pool with the group earlier, followed them and opened fire with a handgun.
