On February 24, 2019, in the rural community of Whispering Ranch near Wickenburg, Arizona, 27-year-old Jhonathan Calderon was found unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds on a resident's property. The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call around 6:30 p.m. reporting the incident. Despite prompt arrival by deputies, Calderon was pronounced dead at the scene.
