On a cross-country journey from Ohio to California, 29-year-old Philip Phil Reagan, a male, was nearing a new chapter in his life. He was accompanied by his 39-year-old brother, Matthew. Their road trip, however, came to a tragic and violent end in the remote landscape of Sawmill, Arizona, on the Navajo Nation Indian Reservation. On March 21, 2020, the brothers were found deceased, having been fatally shot. The medical examiner would later rule both of their deaths as homicides.
