Do you know who murdered Judy Kennedy? On a Saturday night in late August of 1991, 33-year-old Judy Kennedy, a female former postal employee, was tragically killed in Washington, D.C.. She was shot multiple times just before midnight in the 800 block of Hamilton Street NW. At the time of her death, Kennedy was running an errand to her mother's home, which was only a few blocks from her own residence on Marietta Place where she lived with her 12-year-old son.
Family members described Kennedy as a 'real home person,' someone who was not involved with drugs or crime. Her sister and a cousin both indicated that she mostly kept to herself.
The motive for the shooting was not immediately clear to investigators.
In the initial stages of the investigation, the Metropolitan Police Department had not made any arrests in connection with the homicide.
