On a Saturday night in late August of 1991, 33-year-old Judy Kennedy, a female former postal employee, was tragically killed in Washington, D.C.. She was shot multiple times just before midnight in the 800 block of Hamilton Street NW. At the time of her death, Kennedy was running an errand to her mother's home, which was only a few blocks from her own residence on Marietta Place where she lived with her 12-year-old son.
