Jacob Michael "Jake" Dindinger, a 20-year-old emergency medical technician (EMT), died on July 29, 2021, nearly two weeks after being shot in the head while performing his duties in Tucson, Arizona.

On July 18, 2021, Dindinger was working for American Medical Response (AMR) and was on standby in an ambulance when a convicted felon, Leslie Stephen Scarlett, 35, drove up to a house fire and opened fire on the emergency crew.
