In the quiet city of Bullhead City, Arizona, a winter visit turned into a scene of tragedy, leaving three people dead in what authorities would later rule a double murder-suicide. Trisha Lynn Wallin, a 58-year-old female resident, had opened her home to her cousin, Karee Pauline Rowell, 64, and Karee's fiancé, Timothy Wayne Albright, 64, who were visiting from Cromwell, Minnesota to escape the cold.
On the evening of Sunday, December 18, 2022, concerned neighbors were expecting to meet
up with Trisha, Karee, and Timothy. When the three failed to appear and were unreachable by text, the neighbors went to Trisha's residence in the 500 block of Riverview Drive to check on them. Peering through a window, they made a grim discovery and immediately contacted the police.
Upon their arrival at approximately 11 p.m., Bullhead City police officers entered the home to find a devastating scene. Trisha Lynn Wallin, Karee Pauline Rowell, and Timothy Wayne Albright were all deceased, each having sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head. The subsequent investigation by detectives determined the sequence of events that had transpired.
Investigators concluded that Timothy Wayne Albright had shot and killed his fiancée, Karee, and her cousin, Trisha, before turning the gun on himself. The motive behind Albright's actions remains unknown to authorities. As the perpetrator was also deceased, no arrests were made in the case.
