In the early hours of May 7, 2023, the life of 18-year-old Jeremiah Aviles was cut tragically short in Mesa, Arizona. A senior and football player at Red Mountain High School, Jeremiah, a Hispanic/Latino male, was at the home of a teammate, Peter Clabron III, when he was fatally shot. The incident occurred around 2 a.m. in a house on the 2300 block of East Camino Street. When Mesa police arrived, they found Aviles deceased at the scene.
