In the quiet early morning hours of August 2, 2024, a residence in the 3800 block of Diabase Drive in Golden Valley, Arizona, became the scene of a fatal confrontation. Just after 12:40 AM, the Mohave County Sheriff's Office received a call reporting that a man had been shot. When deputies arrived, they found 41-year-old David Richard Roberts Jr. deceased on the property from gunshot wounds.
