In the quiet, rural landscape of Long Pine, Nebraska, the life of 18-year-old Logan Maring, a White male, was tragically cut short on the afternoon of May 22, 2019. Emergency services were dispatched to a residence on U.S. Highway 183 at 4:56 p.m. following a report of a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, law enforcement and the Brown County Ambulance Association discovered Logan Maring had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
