On a late spring day in Palermo, Maine, the life of 40-year-old Daniel Walsh was tragically cut short. On May 27, 2002, inside the supposed safety of his own home, the male victim was shot and killed with a handgun. The man responsible for this violent act was his neighbor, 36-year-old Donald Mooney.
