In the early hours of November 1, 2020, the life of 30-year-old Waylon Bearground, a Native American man, was tragically cut short in a shooting that occurred in a parking lot on the South Side of Billings, Montana. Responding to a call about a disturbance involving a firearm, Billings police officers arrived at the scene to find Bearground gravely wounded. He was immediately transported to a local hospital, but sadly succumbed to his injuries. The incident was quickly determined to be a homicid ...
