On January 10, 2015, Moscow, Idaho, experienced a tragic shooting spree that resulted in the deaths of three individuals, including 76-year-old David Trail. Trail, a respected local businessman and longtime resident, was in his office at Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance when the assailant, 29-year-old John Lee, entered and opened fire. During the attack, Michael Chin, a 39-year-old Seattle resident present for a business discussion with Trail, was also shot and critically injured.
