On September 19, 2004, Eric McMillan, a 19-year-old starting cornerback for the University of Idaho Vandals football team, was fatally shot in his off-campus apartment in Moscow, Idaho. Originally from Murrieta, California, McMillan was a freshman majoring in business management and human resources.
