Lizette Eckert, 50, was found dead from a gunshot wound to the head in her Alton, New Hampshire home on the morning of March 15, 2019. Her husband, James Eckert, was also found at the residence with a gunshot wound and later died at the hospital.

Authorities responded to a reported shooting at the Eckert's Dobbins Way home and discovered the tragic scene. A search ensued for a suspect, and a juvenile was taken into custody.
