On November 7, 2024, 18-year-old Gage Zachary Cassen of Derry, New Hampshire, was found deceased behind the Dollar General store on Wilton Road in Milford. An autopsy conducted by Deputy Chief Medical Examiner Mitchell Weinberg determined that Cassen died from a single gunshot wound to the chest, and his death was ruled a homicide.
