In the early evening hours of Saturday, December 24, 2005, at approximately 5:15 p.m., a man named Francis Kamara was shot and killed at 1161 Bladensburg Road, Northeast. The incident cast a dark shadow over the holiday festivities in that Washington, D.C. neighborhood.
