In the quiet town of North Providence, Rhode Island, the life of a retired nurse was brought to a tragic and violent end in the days leading up to Christmas. Claire Flynn, a 61-year-old Caucasian woman, was found deceased in her Centredale Avenue home on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. Her death was the result of a single gunshot wound, and authorities quickly ruled it a homicide. Flynn had dedicated her career to nursing, having formerly worked for the Rhode Island Department of Corrections.
