On September 7, 2016, in Lander, Wyoming, 85-year-old Muriel Chidsey was found deceased in her home alongside her husband, 86-year-old Charles Chidsey. Authorities determined that Charles had fatally shot Muriel before taking his own life. Evidence at the scene suggested that the incident had been premeditated.
