In the winter of 2014, a violent act shattered the quiet of a residential neighborhood in Arab, Alabama, leading to the untimely death of a 44-year-old woman. Amy Hopkins, a White/Caucasian female, was at a home on Brookside Drive on the evening of February 5, 2014, when she was shot multiple times. For a week, she fought for her life, but ultimately succumbed to her injuries on February 12, 2014.
