In the quiet town of Cuba, Alabama, on June 2, 2015, the lives of two men were tragically cut short. Demarcus Ruffin, a 29-year-old male, and his friend, James Matthew Kirksey, aged 30, were found shot to death inside a residence. The initial investigation by the Sumter County Sheriff's Office quickly determined that the two men were victims of a double homicide, sending ripples of concern through the small community.
