In the late summer of 2008, the life of a young woman from Washington, D.C. was tragically cut short. Ashlee Marie Russell, an 18-year-old female, died on Sunday, August 31, 2008. Her death was the result of a homicide that occurred in the early morning hours.
At approximately 12:46 a.m., events unfolded in the 160 block of 46th Street, NE, that led to Ashlee's death. The Metropolitan Police Department responded to the incident and has since been seeking information from the public to help solve the case.
