On March 22, 2017, 38-year-old Dedrick Lamont Jordan Sr. was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred shortly after midnight during a gathering in the 3000 block of Avenue S in the Ensley neighborhood. According to reports, a group of men arrived in a car and opened fire on the attendees. Jordan sustained critical injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds two days later.
