In the early hours of a Wednesday morning in Birmingham, Alabama, the life of 38-year-old Dedrick Lamont Jordan Sr. was tragically cut short. On March 22, 2017, Jordan was at a gathering in the 3000 block of Avenue S in the city's Ensley neighborhood when violence erupted.
