On August 26, 2017, in Huntsville, Alabama, 20-year-old Carzella Little was fatally shot by her girlfriend, 25-year-old Datondra Mitchell, during an argument at an apartment on Clopton Street. Responding officers discovered Little deceased from a gunshot wound inside the apartment. Mitchell was taken into custody at the scene and subsequently charged with murder.
