In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Tuskegee, Alabama, a dispute at a local business tragically escalated, ending the life of 26-year-old Mikayce Parker. On January 27, 2019, the young Black man from Midland was fatally shot following an argument at a venue on MLK Highway. The incident, which occurred just after 1:00 a.m., cut short a young life and led to a swift response from law enforcement.
