On January 29, 2020, at approximately 11:45 a.m., Mobile Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of Schwarz Street and Hathcox Street in the Toulminville community of Mobile, Alabama. Upon arrival, they discovered 20-year-old Zackory Cortez Mose lying on the side of the street, deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. His body was subsequently transported to the Alabama Department of Forensic Science for an autopsy.
