On a late Friday night in Washington, D.C., the life of 21-year-old Shawn Junior Ray was cut short. On March 16, 2012, at approximately 11:33 p.m., Ray, a Black male, was shot and killed during a robbery in the 4200 block of Edson Place, NE.
