Death by Force

In the Columbia Heights neighborhood of Washington, D.C., on the evening of January 10, 2015, the sound of gunshots broke the winter quiet. At approximately 9:40 p.m., officers from the Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched to the vicinity of 14th and Monroe Streets Northwest to investigate the reports of gunfire.
