On September 1, 2024, at approximately 1:00 p.m., the Anniston Police Department responded to a call regarding a possible body at the Eden Hills Cemetery, located in the 300 block of Eden Hills Road in Anniston, Alabama. Upon arrival, officers discovered 23-year-old Devonte Moore lying on a walking path within the cemetery, deceased from multiple gunshot wounds. The scene was processed by investigators and crime scene technicians, with evidence collected for further analysis.
