In the late summer of 2015, the life of 29-year-old Johnson Jonas was tragically cut short in Washington, D.C. On the morning of Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at approximately 7:55 a.m., authorities responded to a call in the 3000 block of Stanton Road in Southeast D.C. There, they discovered the body of a man, later identified as Johnson Jonas, who was a resident of the Southeast quadrant of the city.
Upon their arrival, police found Mr. Jonas suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. Medical examiners were called to the scene, and his death was officially ruled a homicide.
