On August 19, 2015, Johnson Jonas, aged 29, was found shot and killed in the 3000 block of Stanton Road, SE, Washington, D.C. The incident occurred early in the morning, around 7:55 AM. Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to the scene after receiving reports of gunshots in the area. Upon their arrival, they discovered Jonas with multiple gunshot wounds, and despite emergency response efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
