On March 1, 1983, the remote Alaskan town of McCarthy, with a winter population of about 22 residents, became the site of a tragic mass shooting. Among the six victims were Charles Timothy "Tim" Nash, aged 37, and his wife, Amy Lou Ashenden Nash, aged 25.
