On October 15, 2016, Saul Flores, aged 36, was shot and killed during a double shooting in the 600 block of Kennedy Street, NW, Washington, D.C. The incident occurred at approximately 2:13 am when officers from the Metropolitan Police Department responded to a report of gunfire. Upon arrival, they discovered two men with gunshot wounds. Flores succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while the other victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
