On October 13, 2015, in Kasilof, Alaska, 46-year-old Royce Gardner tragically lost his life due to an accidental firearm discharge. While working on a vehicle at a residence, Gardner had a revolver tucked into his waistband. During the course of his work, the handgun slipped from its position, struck the vehicle, and discharged, resulting in a fatal gunshot wound. Emergency responders from Central Emergency Services arrived promptly but pronounced Gardner deceased at the scene.
