On December 18, 2018, in North Pole, Alaska, 38-year-old Rona Marie Franco Hooker was found deceased alongside 44-year-old Tana Miller in a garage on Airline Drive. The Alaska State Troopers' investigation suggested that Miller, who had reportedly been experiencing suicidal tendencies in recent months, fatally shot Hooker before taking his own life, leading authorities to classify the incident as a murder-suicide.
