Death by Force

Ryan Silva, a 43-year-old former Sitka police officer, was found deceased in his Monastery Street home in Sitka, Alaska, on December 18, 2022. The Alaska Bureau of Investigation conducted a preliminary investigation and determined that Silva died by suicide. His body was subsequently sent to the state Medical Examiner’s office in Anchorage for further examination.
